Abstract: |
A watching brief was maintained on two deep drainage trenches dug in the ground of Marlborough House as part of a continuing programme of refurbishment. The structures revealed proved to be largely drainage features of a variety of dates associated with the House. A large 17th century brick chamber, possibly associated with St James Palace was also found. [Au(adp)] |
