Abstract: |
The site was located in an area of little archaeological, but greater palaeoenvironmental potential, as shown in archaeological, documentary and cartographic sources. The archaeological potential for prehistoric features was low due to the site lying over a palaeochannel, or on the down slope of a gravel island. The site was truncated across the north of the area by the Franklin Building basement and across the south by former warehouse piers and foundations. [Au(abr)] |
