Abstract:
Observations were made during the enlargement of the public car park at Cleeve Abbey, during which a modern field drain and remains of a 1970's road diversion were recorded. No other features or structures of archaeological significance were apparent, despite the proximity of the site to both the main entrance of the Abbey (established in the late 12th century) and to Washford Mill (contemporary with the Abbey).[Au(abr)]
