Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at the proposed site of sheltered housing. The site lay on a gravel terrace, and thus had potential for prehistoric flint artefacts. A Roman road passed through the area, and a medieval manor house had lain nearby. During the evaluation, fragments of 19th-20th century pottery and building material were found. It was concluded that no further work would be necessary. [AIP] |
