The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 A programme of archaeological works and historic building recording was undertaken at The Grange, in advance of, and during, residential conversion. The complex of Grade II* Listed buildings, dating from the 16th century was first documented as an inn or hostelry called The Swan. Several residual medieval potsherds and post-medieval pottery was recovered. Analysis of the buildings and their fabrics identified earlier features from eight discrete structures within the complex, revealing many changes and phases of repair and enhancement during the last 350 years.
