Abstract: |
A watching brief at Harpendon Golf Course dueing the development of a new field to the south of the existing course revealed a series of features ranging in date from the Late Bronze Age-Early Iron Age (8th century BC) to the early medieval (twelth to thirteenth centuries AD), as well as undated features proably from these periods. Scatters of struck flints and early medieval pottery sherds were also identified, although there was no definable foci for these. [Au(adp)] |
