Abstract: |
An evaluation in advance of construction of a new accommodation block found evidence for the medieval mill known to have lain adjacent to the site. Two phases of wall foundations and part of the mill pond were revealed, along with a ditch which was probably associated. No evidence for the Civil War defences was found despite cartographic evidence for their proximity.[AIP] |
