Abstract: |
The desktop assessment was undertaken on the proposed route of a water pipeline. The study area contained a small number of recorded sites, mostly prehistoric finds, although none on the proposed route. The general area also contained railway and canal routes, over 60 listed buildings and Fittleworth Bridge, an SAM. Former water meadows on the bank of the river were identified, and together with a possible historic field, lay on the route of the proposed works. [Au(adp)] |
