Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was carried out on an area of land that was located immediately south-west of the site of several Viking burials located by chance in 1851. Four test-pits, a cable trench and the excavations for the formation of a new building were inspected but nothing of archaeological significance was revealed. Extensive probing showed that no caves were present. [AIP] |
