Abstract: |
The results of the evaluation demonstrated the presence of medieval occupation in close proximity to the site, evidenced by five sherds of pottery dated to the thirteenth-fourteenth centuries. This was the first confirmed archaeological indication of medieval activity in the village of Hambleton. [Au(abr)] |
