Abstract:
<summary>An evaluation to determine the nature and preservation of archaeological remains at Pill was undertaken. The site of the deserted farmstead was completely obscured by the tipping of waste material during the construction of the Barnstaple By-Pass. As well as excavation, a full documentary search was carried out. The state of survival of the buried deposits was very poor and further investigation was not recommended. {italon}AIP{italoff}
