Abstract:
A geophysical resistivity survey was undertaken after the foundations of a suspected 13th century chapel was revealed during levelling work on the site. The survey was carried out to further investigate this area as part of an extensive ongoing historical research project. The site proved extremely poor for resistivity sampling due to the high concentration of moisture contained within the ploughsoil. Three previously unknown anomalies were observed of unknown origin.
