Abstract: |
The site was thought to have a very low archaeological potential for the Mesolithic period, in which it probably lay under water. During the Neolithic and Bronze Age, the study site was thought to have lain within a wet marshy woodland environment. However, the absence of high gravels or sands indicated that the study site was unlikely to have been a particular focus of human activity in these periods. The study site was thought to have a very low archaeological potential for all periods of human activity post-dating the Bronze Age. No significance industrial heritage features were thought to be present. [Au(adp)] |
