Abstract: |
<summary>An assessment was carried out to identify sites worthy of conservation or archaeological recording, and areas in which archaeological remains might be revealed during topsoil- stripping. The pipeline corridor passed very close to a Scheduled Ancient Monument and it was recommended that steps be taken to ensure that no damage was done to the site. Further sites had been identified and preliminary hand-excavation was advised. A watching brief during topsoil-stripping was also recommended. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
