The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 The evaluation revealed varying densities of archaeological remains throughout the area of investigation, representing a wide range of deposits, dating from the early prehistoric through to the post-medieval period. Two particularly significant concentrations of deposits were discovered; a cluster of Neolithic and Bronze Age pits and post holes in the north-west segment of the site, and an area of dense intercutting features, representing several phases of Late Iron Age/ Romano-British settlement in the central area of the site. In addition, there were numerous ditches associated with prehistoric, Romano-British, medieval and post-medieval field systems and an area of medieval ridge and furrow cultivation. [Au]
