Abstract: |
A desk-based assessment was undertaken at the proposed quarry site . The assessment identified that site lay in a Bronze Age funerary landscape and had the potential for associated settlement. The site was a medieval heath and may contain features relating to droving, rabbit warrens and small scale mineral extraction. Previous mineral extraction may have removed any archaeology in the middle of the site. [Au(adp)] |
