Abstract: |
<summary>A desk-top assessment of the proposed site of an office building was undertaken. Stray finds of Neolithic, Iron Age and Saxon date had been recorded in the immediate vicinity. The site had lain outside the main occupation area of Roman {italon}Londinium{italoff}, but an adjacent area had been used as a cemetery; burials and cremation urns had been excavated. The site had subsequently remained open until the early 19th century. The report recommended an evaluation. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea} |
