Abstract: |
Despite the high potential for the site, few archaeological features were revealed during the evaluation. Ditches were recorded, probably representing later post-medieval field boundaries. Several pits and postholes were also identified across the site, although only three contrained sparse, poor quality struck flint, possibly indicating human activity in prehistory. Similarly, a few sherds of unstratified Iron Age pottery was found. [Au(abr)] |
