Abstract: |
An instrument survey was carried out in order to plot the location of potential earthworks referred to in the archaeological brief prepared by Worcestershire County Council, and in advance of residential development proposals. This recorded a possible mound, a linear bank (probably corresponding to a field boundary noted on the 1924 OS map, and also seen on the aerial photograph of the land), the garden terracing and another linear bank. (probably corresponding to a possible enclosure line noted on the 1903 Ordnance Survey map). [Au(abr)] |
