Abstract: |
The evaluation revealed features indicative of sand extraction pits that appeared to be modern and post-medieval in date. No archaeological features of an earlier date were located. Residual struck flint, however, were found across the site dating from the Mesolithic to early Neolithic. Residual prehistoric and medieval pottery were also found. [Au(abr)] |
