Abstract: |
Archaeological recording was undertaken on a construction trench, excavated prior to any archaeological involvement. All recording was therefore based upon the sections along the edges of the trench. A number of archaeological features of probable medieval date were recorded and appeared to consist predominantly of pits. Only two of these showed signs of having been structural in nature, and no walls other than those which formed the upstanding boundary of the plot were encountered. [Au(abr)] |
