Abstract: |
The site lay immediately to the south of the SAM, Palace House. The wall was of similar date to the house, marking the southern boundary of the property. Further investigation revealed a brick lined well. This feature was built into the structure of the wall. A mixture of deposits interpreted as yard material overlaid natural. The wall continued below the original ground surface with bricks used for the footings. [Au(abr)] |
