Abstract: |
The watching brief was undertaken on a small shallow trench excavated during minor building works. All of the uppermost deposits were seen to have been of modern origin. Below these lay a series of loose deposits, the nature of which, together with the observation of certain structural characteristics of the college, suggested the possibility that a back-filled cellar may have lain in the western corner of the building.
