Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief carried out to the rear of 16-18 High Street revealed medieval rubbish pits and earlier layers as well as a stone-lined well and stone walls of probable 17th-18th century date. The work demonstrated that there was a high potential for the survival of similar deposits to the rear of buildings on the medieval street frontages. [Au(abr)] |
