Abstract: |
The survey confirmed that the best exposures of the medieval town wall in Rookery Field, and therefore those that require consolidation, survived in the southern half of the field, along its eastern margin. The wall line was constructed along the top of the degraded sea cliff and was composed of straight elements that changed alignment to reflect the line of the cliff.[Au(abr)] |
