Abstract: |
Three trenches were machine-excavated, two of them through low earthern banks. One earthwork was of modern date and was probably a ramp up to a hatch in an adjacent barn. The other bank remains undated. The final trench revealed a well preserved colluvial sequence and quantities of prehistoric worked flint. A burnt spread was identified in Trench A.[Au(adp)] |
