An investigation of the hospital site to evaluate the archaeological potential of the site prior to redevelopment revealed various modern features associated with the hospital and its orchard. A small number of struck flints of Neolithic/ Bronze Age date were collected from the surface of the natural clay-silts. [Au(adp)] |
