Abstract: |
A desk-based assessment was undertaken ahead of proposed development. The work, involving the use of computerised mapping systems, enabled historic features and below-ground interventions to be overlain onto a modern OS base map, thereby providing an indication of areas of disturbance and areas of archaeological potential prior to a field evaluation being undertaken. The assessment identified areas of potential archaeological significance which may have remained unaffected by later development. [Au(abr)] |
