Abstract:
A rapid desk based assessment of the archaeological and historical background of 22 sites across Derbyshire. Seven of the sites were located within areas considered to have some potential for the survival of archaeological remains. At these, (Hall terrace, Carlton Close, Linden Avenue, Crow Lane, Clayton Street South, St. Augustines Drive and Chatsworth Road) a programme of monitoring of ground works was recommended. [Au(adp)]
