Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out in advance of the construction of 275 new dwellings, a school and an area of open land. A small north west-south east aligned ditch was the only significant archaeological feature located. Roman pottery, Mesolithic flint flakes and medieval finds were recorded. Post-medieval boundary ditches, a possible clay quarry pit and a probable field drain were also encountered. [Au(abr)] |
