During the course of the watching brief no significant archaeological features or deposits were revealed. The stratigraphy comprised made ground, post-medieval garden soil and fragmented limestone bedrock. At the north of the site, a rubble-filled brick-lined basement of 18th/19th century date was revealed.[Au] |
