Abstract: |
<summary>A desk-based study to assess the archaeological implications of the widening of the M4 motorway from junction 12 to junction 15 identified a total of 42 sites of archaeological interest within a 200 metre wide study corridor, 20 located in Berkshire and 22 in Wiltshire. Material remains of all periods were noted, although evidence for prehistoric periods was likely to be under-represented due to its more ephemeral character. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea} |
