Abstract: |
A desk-based assessment was carried out in support of a planning application for a dry detention basin. The proposed development site lay within an area that had been used for agricultural purposes from at least the medieval period and probably for much longer. There was a linear feature running from the development area to the west which was probably a medieval field system boundary but could also have been a prehistoric feature. Apart from this feature visible on aerial photography, there was low archaeological potential. [Au(adp)] |
