Abstract: |
All four trenches were excavated across the sandy-gravel deposits. Features and finds from these trenches indicated the remains of an outbuilding associated with the public house dating from the nineteenth century. There also appeared to have been several phases of ground raising across most of the site dating to the nineteenth century. No deposits or cut features were found from the prehistoric through to the post-medieval periods. [Au(abr)] |
