Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during the excavation of four small trenches dug for the placement of temporary piers for a film set construction. This revealed a variation in the east-west topographhy and an undated pit. The report concluded that no features or artefacts, save possibly the Saxo-Norman pottery fragments and piece of decorated leadwork, of archaeological importance were observed. [Au(adp)] |
