Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during the construction of two houses at a site which lay close to an area of enclosures, identified by aerial photography. A second area of cropmarks which lay nearby was a Scheduled Ancient Monument, no. 248, the most significant feature of which was the Neolithic Drayton Cursus. No archaeological remains or deposits were observed during the watching brief. [AIP] |
