Abstract: |
A linear feature containing Roman pottery, medieval and post-medieval pits and medieval features were recorded. These were interpreted as three phases of activity. Based on the evidence recovered, a Roman settlement site was postulated for the unexcavated north east corner of the site, which was under gardens. [Au(abr)] |
