Abstract: |
The watching brief was carried out at the National Trust property during drainage works on the site. Remains recovered did not predate the post-medieval period and included a 19th century pit and some building debris which was thought to have come from the remodelling of the hall in the 17th century. The west wall of the hall was also exposed during ground works. [AIP] |
