Abstract: |
Although in 1959 a spread of kiln debris, and quantities of 1st - late 2nd century Roman pottery were discovered, nothing dating to earlier than the 18th or 19th centuries was found during this evaluation. Extensive evidence of 19th and 20th century ground disturbance, including cellaring was revealed. [AIP] |
