Abstract: |
The assessment concluded that the site had an uncertain potential for the Palaeolithic period and a low or low to moderate archaeological potential for all other past periods of human activity. Past post-depositional impacts on the site were categorised as severe. It was unlikely that post-Palaeolithic archaeological remains would have been present on the site. The proposed development would not have impacted upon the gravels on the site, which may have contained Palaeolithic remains. [Au(abr)] |
