Abstract: |
The archaeological evaluation consisted of 56 trenches and 104 test pits. The archaeological features consisted largely of tree-throws, pits, post holes, ditches. Many of the ditches are likely to be continuations of Bronze Age and medieval/post-medieval field systems identified to the east within the Heathrow Terminal 5 area. A series of post holes, one containing the remnants of a wooden stake of Mesolithic date. [Au(abr)] |
