Abstract: |
A desktop assessment, followed by three days of fieldwork established that the corridor of the proposed A30 / Plusha junction improvements was primarily within Anciently Enclosed Land. The western end of the corridor fell on the periphery of Recently Enclosed Land. There were six Listed Buildings within the assessment area and a further two sites featured within the SMR, in addition a number of new potential sites had been added. Medieval and post-medieval sites dominated the site inventory, but prehistoric sites and remains were to be expected due to the proximity of the site to Bodmin Moor. [Au] |
