Abstract: |
Archaeological field walking was undertaken due to the planned expansion of the existing quarry. 153 pieces of worked flint, 89 pieces of burnt flint and 9 pieces of pottery were recovered. These finds indicated activity spanning millennia, from the Early Neolithic to the Roman period, with a particularly strong Early Bronze Age presence. [Au(adp)] |
