Abstract: |
The assessment was undertaken to identify and assess features of historical interest on part of the Mount Batten headland, particularly those relating to 20th century and earlier defences. This was being undertaken in order to evaluate the structures or features which could be incorporated into its future utilisation as a Public Open Space. Of the features recorded the vast majority were those built during World War Two. It was suggested that these features be incorportated into a self-guided trail around the Public Open Space. [AIP] |
