Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during excavations for the installation of a new drainage system within a churchyard. Redeposited medieval and post-medieval pottery and decorated medieval floor tiles were recovered. Two possibly Victorian pits containing disarticulated human remains were examined. Human bones were also noted elsewhere within the trenches. No intact burials were disturbed. [AIP] |
