Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at the site, located close to the medieval and post-medieval core of the village of Cogenhoe. A post-medieval/modern demolition layer was the only archaeological deposit to be located, despite significant remains of Roman and Iron Age activity having been previously recorded in close proximity to the development area. This was thought to have either not extended into the development area, or to have been destroyed by the demolition/levelling activity at the site. [Au(adp)] |
