Abstract:
The desk-top assessment indicated that the proposed development site lay within an area of high archaeological potential. Although the site had been heavily basemented, the possibility remained that deposits may have survived. This had been indicated by ill-defined but substantial remains which had been identified during a test-pit survey conducted within two of the buildings on the site. [Au]
