The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 There was a high potential for palaeoenvironmental remains, a moderate potential for prehistoric, low to moderate potential for Roman remains, low potential for Saxon remains, a low-moderate potential for medieval and post-medieval remains. Cartographic evidence showed that the site was part of Plaistow Marsh, and was used as pastureland until the late 19th century. By 1897, Victorian terraced housing and its associated back gardens occupied the southern end of Kennard Street and these terraces remained until 1957. They were replaced by a Community Centre which has now been demolished. [Au(abr)]
