Abstract: |
<summary>It was proposed that the temporary running track at Cleavel Point would be removed and the land returned to agricultural use. This gave an opportunity to assess the impact of the track, through compaction, amongst other things, on the archaeological deposits below. Due to previous work the site layout was fairly well known, so test-pits were dug within the track area. It was discovered that the compaction of the stone track had occurred above the geotextile membrane it lay on, and that the buried deposits did not seem to have been affected. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea} |
