Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken in advance of a proposed accommodation block construction for the school. Deposits of natural hill-washed clay, recent garden soil and modern drainage were identified within three evaluation trenches excavated within an 'adventure playground' associated with the site's use as a school. No artefacts or remains of earlier than 20th century date were recovered during the evaluation. The site appeared to have little to no archaeological potential. [Au(adp)] |
